Color Decisions
I'm ready to put down my money for a new TSX but need to decide on color combination. Problem is that TSX's are far and few between on dealer lot here so there is little opportunity to see what the car really looks like in many colors. Those one inch square samples in the catalog are little help.
We want an Ebony or Quartz interior so that eliminates White or Red as an exterior color. We don't want a Black car and already have a Passat in a color very close to Carbon Gray Pearl.
That leaves Satin Silver Metallic, Artic Blue Pearl and Meteor Silver Metallic as choices. We have only seen the Satin Silver and like it but have been told silver is an almost impossible color to paint match should any part need repainting.
Artic Blue looks good on an RSX but how does it look on a TSX?
Any votes for Meteor Silver...salesman says it looks good for a woman's car but not for guys (sounds a little sexist to me).
If you have one of these colors or have seen it on a car I'd appreciate your opinion.

I got the Arctic Blue. I like it. It takes a little getting used to. I think it does look a little better on the RSX. I call it more or a sports car or racing car blue than a sedan blue (if that makes any sense). I think it does turn heads a little, and it does show the curves and lines of the body well.
It is definitely lighter than it looks in pictures (to me anyway). It is a true blue. I don't see any red, green, purple, or any other color components in the shade. I would have prefered a darker, more like the TL's Abyss Blue.

Hey, those were my color choices when I went TSX shopping. I really like the Meteor Silver cause it can be deceiving depending on which angle you look at it and how much sunlight. But I ended up with Satin Silver because I wanted an Ebony interior. And you can't go wrong with Arctic Blue either...which was my first choice, but decided to get something lighter.
I don't know about repainting with SSM, but for paint chips the Canadian paint pens does a much much better job with matching paint than those paint bottles that we have...for me at least.

As you can see below I got Arctic blue pearl too. I thought I wanted carbon grey, but now that I have seen the TSX in just about any color, I am glad that I have it in ABP. The styling of the TSX is understated, and I feel that the bright blue livens it up a bit. I had my choice of either nighthawk black pearl with ebony interior or my car and what made up my mind was the way the chromed door handles and window trip look against the bright blue when the car is clean. I love it.
I have Arctic Blue too. I originally wanted Carbon Grey, but there was a wait for it last year and I didn't want to wait. No regrets of the ABP color especially since I see a lot of Satin Silvers and Carbon Grey TSXs on the streets, if I ever do see another TSX.

This song would go good for us Blues!

I got the red last weekend because I wanted the parchment interior and didn't want blace exterior. I love it. My first red car at 56 years old. I've already detailed the car from top to bottom.
Meteor Silver Metallic with Quartz interior.
I hate dark interiors. Leather tend to show signs of wear after 2-3 years. Always dirty,
I would love to get the white/tan interior here in Canada (we don't)

Another ABP here! I thinking out of all the colors for TSX, ABP has the most "racecar factor." It is the closest color to the Euro-R blue
Also, it is relative rare compared to the other colors like Silver. The color gets light in the sunlight, and it turns some heads, yet it does not ight up like Christmas tree in the dark. Also, even though it's eye catching, it does hide imperfections (small scratches and dents) in the car well since it's still a "darker" color than silver or white, and it's not that tough to keep clean like the black (swirls marks, etc.)
