I have an orange reflector handy...

Same as others i would only do this is it were cheap, after all it is merely a small piece of plastic.

I would be up for buying one of these. Probably would be much cheaper than spending $600 or so to have a part of my headlights be clear

Yeah, JDM headlights are so overpriced,

I mean the BMW guys can get simple clear corners for their headlights for low price.

So should we dang it!

Any way to make them look like the 06+ jdm headlights? Instead of clear its that light bluish color? Though clear would also be fine.

if we can't get them wiht a blue tint, I think blue-ish LED's would do the trick right?

The clear one is replacable too, or at least removable (I remember seeing a thread where someone took pics of the whole headlight assembly disassembled, and they were removed). But I guess you'd have to make sure you get amber bulbs for the turn signals huh

The orange circle is not that easy to remove, it requires taking off the inner chrome housing which means unscrewing the the beam pattern adjustment bolts. Not saying its impossible just annoying.

I would be interested in the replicas, however my front-end just got rammed by a truck this morning so i may get some 06+ jdm headlights

Im interested and would like to finally see this happen. In the past I contacted 3 companies about this including Mr and fronted over $350 towards this project with no results. My loss and still no clear corners. I could have just bought a set of JDMs for what time and money I invested into this project.

Keep me posted. Im in for at least 2 sets if this can happen for a reasonable price. Ive thrown too much money at this already with no results.

A lot of people have set-up group buys in the past but failed, due to the price, and the lack of people, and.... the annoyance of taking apart the headlight.

YOu guys DO know you have to bake the headlights open, right? It's not like BMW where you can just swap out the reflector.

Long time no see Arch! I remember when you were one of the first to get Angel Eyes!

Yeah, I would love to see clear corners available at a lower price so everyone does not have to get JDM headlight for an arm and a leg.

If anyone needs help installing the reflector i can help out. I also wouldnt mind buying a bunch of reflectors, install them into headlights (which i would have) and forward them to you guys.

Lets not let this NOT happen just for b/c of installation purposes.

Thanks its been a while since Ive visited. The Angel Eyes are holding up great, wow someone remembers I was the first Angel Eye virgin? Yeah I donated my headlights to Umnitza to make it all happen.

Heres an update on the Angel Eyes: some of the adhesive came loose and the halo moved a little bit. So I will have to re-baked and opened to fix that. The painted smoked corner lenses they did for me still look great and flawless. I love them, but I would love clear alot more. Other than that everything with my headlights are fine. Ive since added a harness and relay to have them properly wired.

Im always on the lookout for a pair of headlights on Ebay just to work on myself. I would like a spare set to install angel eyes in and clear corners in should my originals go out or get damaged.

I don't think that many people would be into a group buy where you have to bake your headlights open to install the product
