it might be a dumb question but for the 05' tsx, is that a CL7 or a CL9??

actually it's any 2.0L accord i believe. as was mentioned CL7/CL9 refers to the 4th through 6th digit of your VIN. The next two after that specify the transmission type (5=MT, 6=AT) and trim level (8=no nav, 9=nav) for the TSX at least.
