Child booster that WON'T mess up the seats?
I had our child car seat installed for sever months before taking it out. I was really surprised how badly it indented the seats. Even after a week with the seats out the indentation was still noticeable. I ran out and bought a super thick seat mat to help a bit. I'm about to replace the infant seat with a toddler booster. Are there any boosters on the market, perhaps one with a smooth back, that won't permanently indent the TSX's seat foam?

Its probably the same one I bought. I bought one that was really thick but made the inside of the car smell like a tire shop. The smell killed me. I've been using a universal car floor mat -- cheaper, thicker than most seat protectors and no smell. I just want to make sure in a few years when I take the car seats out I have nice looking Acura leather again!

I just put a towel under the booster seat my son sits in. It's a bath towel that I fold up so that it's just bigger than the seat itself catching all the edges.
It does seem like car-seat manufacturers ought to learn how to make slightly rounded molded in bottoms that fully rest on the seat and account for any side supports that a lot of seats have built in now. Even if a seat bottom doesn't have such side supports (Ford and GM barely have them), a good secure attachment of the car-seat would simply push the bottom down into the seat cushion better.
