Okay, I have a suggestion. We need to assign some of the logistics to those in Chicago area. Here is what I think we need to have a person own:

1. Final call on location and it sounds like Costco-Brewery parking lot.
2. Someone needs to own calling the "establishments" to make sure everything is okay.
3. A person to create and post the directions to the meet in a sticky thread that will post names of who, their car and voting buttons for:
A. Definitely showing
B. Maybe showing up
C. No dice
- This becomes our list for a needed "check-in"
- MODA_WAYwill step up and own this one
Done
Chicago meet check-in and vote
4. For the out-of-towners, try to PM locals for suggestions of accomedation if needed.
5. Finally, post back that you have taken on one of the items and that it is finished.

That's it. Let's stop tinkering with where and just do the brewery. It won't be offensive to our female members and it has ample parking, food, and beer. Since I am a costco member I will call the manager there and clear it with him/her. Also, I will call the brewery once we have a firmer total. I am available to any out of towner that needs tips on directions or lodging. If you have the navi you're on your own (yet another reason why you should have purchased it).

I submit that the date and time are now final:

Sat, 8/16 @ 11:30AM at Costco/Prairie Brewery.

Any dissent?

I agree. This time is perfect. Can you PM Mr.Chad and let him know you can advise him on accommedations. He's looking for someplace good to nice between the meeting place and Chicago.

I'm glad this Brewery idea was OK. I didn't even know that there was a COSTCO there, that's just a bonus, I love Costco, although whenever I go in there to "buy a couple of things", it ends up being $100. I guess we'll just need to worry about all the stray shopping carts which are usually floating around Costco's! If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Go to the sign-in thread and represent. Other than that, show up and enjoy yourself!

I'm from the Canton Area.
I also hang out with Schmiddy. (He has the black Sedan version of my car on the other Honda boards.) He goes to OSU and lives in dublin. I don't see him as much as I would like b/c of the 3 hour drive to Columbus.

Here is the columbus honda acura club board:
