Check Engine Light

Anyone else notice that the TSX equivelant of the Check Engine Light flashes when they turn on their car? It stops after awhile, but it bothers me to see it on when I turn the ignition. It flashes for about 5-7 secs.

Looks like I'll be calling the service department yet again!

i had this happen to me, still haven't taken it in to get checked. happened right after I brought my car in for an oil change... it might be the EVAP system with my oil catch can however. eventually my blinking check engine light turned into a always on light. quite annoying, but no time to take it in.

This light blinks before 10,000 miles. The dealer told me that it does this only for the first scheduled appt. If you don't take it to a certified mechanic it won't turn off.

Don't confuse both: There is the Maint Req'd Light, and there is a check engine light. They are not the same.

Which one are you talking about?

I'd read my owners manual before I called the service department.

Read the manual. It's all in there. Also shows you how to stop it from blinking.
