Changing your brakes made easy

Hey everyone. I'm not normally the helpful type, but I recently learned how to change my brakes from a friend and I was so mad about how easy it is I feel like other people need to know.

I will personally never pay a mechanic to change brake pads for me again. I decided to write the entire procedure out here:

http://fivemartinilunch.blogspot.com...ur-brakes.html

I hope this helps everyone since it took me forever to research how to retract the rear pistons. No one had it posted on any major sites. Hint: they screw in.

Also, before everyone gets on my case about buying the cheapest brake pads I could find two quick things: 1- I spend 90% of my time in the worst Long Island traffic imaginable and rarely get over 60 unless it's night. And more importantly 2- The car goes back next month.

Glad you learned how to do this.

Be careful not to over torque your lug nuts that can cause the steel to yield and eventually fail.
