Changing Green/Yellowish Glow

hey guys you know how on our center console at night it has a yellowish/green glow. like where you would turn the knobs for tuning the stations and controlling the volume of music. My friend has an 07 TL and the color isn't that color but instead it is blue.

Is there any way we could change this color to blue instead?

If so could someone explain how to do this and if it is hard or not?

i thought it'd be a pretty cool idea.

There's probably a colored silicone cap on every bulb that gives them that color. If so, it'd just be a matter of replacing every cap with a blue one. That would be a lot of bulbs to get at, though.

just picked up an 08 CRV (EX-L). has a great looking interior, actually compares well to the TSX. More updated and modern in some respects. Lots of blue accents, including our much heralded overhead ambient light - and all the buttons are backlit white.

somebody on the forum did this a couple years back. I think his name was Electro or something like that. It was extremely complicated if I remember and required complete disassembly of the dashboard and lots of soldering.

I never ended up finishing the project. All I did was the door/window switches, left panel switches, and heater panel switches. I was going to work on the dash area, but ended up changing jobs and moving. When it warms up I might revisit this project again.

I will see if I can find my old notes, but they may still be in a box after we moved. I need to revisit some of this anyway, some of the supercheap ebay leds I used have gone out. There is a reason some of them sell 1000 leds for 50 cents.

I was going for all white last time, I'm thinking of going dark blue like the VW's use this time.
