My friend on campus was telling me that he found out there was a Central Illinois Import forum, so I went to check it out and crack jokes about my friends Celica GTS. The people started calling my car a 4 door family car, RSX with a few hundred pounds, even started saying how the Accord is faster than the TSX.

Now I guess the above are true, but I mean I don't think it's a family car. Do people just not appreciate the TSX in the import community? Honestly I love my car even if it's "slow". It's the fastest thing I've ever driven and I have no complaints about the 6MT.

But seriously these guys are driving Saturns and Talons (though the TSi is a fast car I still think it's ugly).

Now I don't want to say anything about them because they might key my car, since it's one of three TSX's in Champaign, and the only 6MT I believe.

 

Man forget them. Your actually going to take bullshit from dudes driving 5000 dollar talons. and freaken saturns.. Those are the dudes who are too afraid to negotiate with a dealer right? Your car has more class, more looks, and more prestige. It is a refined machine. I considered buying a 220hp mazda6, until i drove a tsx. I'm sold now. the only thing i have to debate is the color. Matter fact.. the wife say's navigation is cool. So that is a buy on that...

 

c'mon- think about how much your life would have to suck in order to drive a Talon. Let them say what they need to say in order to feel good about themselves. For the same reason why nobody who is good looking argues with people who say "beauty is on the inside."

TSX comes in champaign?! Wait, are you talking about Champaign, IL? If so, you go to U. of I right?

 

If they drove your car they would want it! Or if they could afford your car they would want it!.. Atleast you can cruise in style and at the same time have usable power.. the TSX might be looked at as being a 4 door version of the RSX but the RSX doesnt have that usable power down low like you have in the TSX..and you have to Rev the hell out of the RSX to feel all of the power..torque comes in at like 6,800 or 7,000rpms compared the higher torque numbers of the TSX coming in around 4,500rpms. I get compliments of my car every damn day..so dont get all bent out of shape man..they just mad cause they dont have what you have..so dont talk sh!t back or they'll key it! thats bullsh!t..if you think they would do that..then, yea.. they are haters!

The IS300 is a 4-door and that thing is far from a family car. a car is untilized better when you have 4-doors. I personally like it...a lot better than my 2-door civic and having to fold my seat to let people in the back. I wouldn't buy another 2-door until i get my porsche. Also the RSX doesn't have a armrest so you can rub that in their f**kin face...hahah. peace

Ahhh Man, I just graduated from U of I this past May and I did not see any TSX's down there (I just got mine after I graduated). But from what I remember the only "nicer" cars down there driven by students were the couple of BMWs, this one guy drove around a black M3 but I heard he traded it in for an accord

Anyways, I just wanted to say that aside from the ricers on campus (riced out civics, i think one Evo, couple of integra type-r's...) your TSX should be one of the nicest cars on campus so don't even trip. People just like to hate.

 

Last I checked, Saturns and Talons arent imports...what a bunch of assclowns...

Surprise ! It's an ACCORD - they're right on this, it is a family car - maybe not to the "general perception" of north americans - but then this Accord was really intended for the Jpn dometic market. In Asia, car of this spec is considered a rather large family car.
