Cell Phone Location?
Where do you keep yours while your driving?
My Motorola V 60i fits neatly into the "NOT AN ASHTRAY" compartment, but I can't stand the bright red color glaring up at me from the open compartment. I'd like to color it black but don't have a clue as to how to remove it... anyone have a diagram or instructions?
TIA,
Santa Rosa Steve

If i'm not mistaken the red "not an ashtray" is an adhesive stick on.... you can just pry that out. I'm positive that is on the 99-03 tl's and cl's. I believe that should be the same for the tsx. Hope this help.

2.) The red fuzzy ashtray-substitute snaps in with 4 tabs but it's in there awfully tight. I would not recommend trying to remove it without first removing the entire "ashtray" and outlet assembly. It was a "challenge" to remove it with the assembly out of the car on my workbench. I removed it when I had the console apart to install the cassette player (instructions at https://hondacuraworld.hostasaurus.c...tructions/tsx/) and I modified the assembly and use it for the remote display of my Valentine-1.
