umm...I think you're taking a pretty big risk with cd-rws. There was an earlier thread where someone mentioned having had a cd-rw disk get jammed in the player and they had to replace the cd player.

Acura doens't recommend use of CD-RW's because the glue on the labels causing jamming.

the glue comes from the "self-lable-maker-thingy". You know that cd labeler u can buy to put purrrrrrty labels on your cd. Well, if u use that in ur in dash player in the hot weather, the label can peel off inisde, thus jamming you cd player to hell. Its happened in my cousin's new 4runner.

Also before you put in a new cd, you should use a pencil and get rid of the sharp edges on the cd.

Acura actually didn't recommend CD-RW's because the reflective layer is too dark for the laser to pick it up... Essentially, it's not supposed to be able to read them.

I seriously doubt it could get stuck if there's no label on it.

Apparently, Crazy's CD player has a strong enough laser to be able to read CD-RWs. It probably doesn't work in 100% of the cars, but I'd be willing to bet that 85-90% of TSX's will play them.

huh? Never thought it's gonna be a problem...I had been using CD-RW on mine for quite some time now, and only had to do some tricks to get it to play. If the cd player display "disc err" or an error msg, just hit forward to skip to second track, and it will play the disc. You can then press back to play track one, and it will play. The summer here is damn hot and I have yet to face any glue issue.
