Car salesman say the darndest things...
I know that everyone has been waiting for news about the 2006 TSX. Well, I can tell you everything you need to know courtesy of a certified Acura sales representative. The 2006 TSX will be........drumroll, please.......NON-EXISTENT!!!!! That's right. Turns out that the TSX is a limited production vehicle and production will cease after the 2005 model year.
That's what he said. You heard it here first.

I believe this was it although I wasn't really negotiating with him at all. I was only there with my brother in-law as he was picking up his new (used 2002) TL. I was just looking at a 6MT TSX when a salesman walked by and said, "That's the last one of those that we're going to get." I said, "Oh, you mean with a manual transmission - no more until '06?" That's when he said no more at all.

And yes, you're right about my user name. I couldn't think of anything so I looked over at my bookshelf and saw Fahrenheit 451. The rest is history.

But if only smart people sold cars, it would be harder to get a deal.

No offical Honda statement or heads up =
However, the TSX is an accord and Honda can produce them fast. It wont be gone for awhile....7 year run I'm thinking. tee hee unless we get the 8th gen jdm accord as the 2nd gen tsx?
Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure. The TSX is here to stay for a long time.

All new 2006 TSX information is already posted on www.vtec.net . TSX is not being discontinued. What kind of nonsence is that?
Vehicle will be in production by October and will arrive at the showroom by the beginning of November.
Definitely up to 210 HP, w/ Bluetooth, memory driver seats, over 600 voice command for the navigation system, minor change for front and rear lights.
Whoever spread those rediculous rumor was just a disgrace for Acura Council of Sales Excellence.

BTW, Acura will still keep the TSX production around 30,000 units per year mark. They are definitely keeping the production of 6MT. Guys, I've been with Acura for 6 years. TSX is still going extremely strong in terms of sales. July is another record selling month for TSX. I personally sold 3 TSX's myself last month. We have to keep one on the lot so the clients can at least test drive the car before they put their order in. Do the math, there are 264 Acura dealers, each dealer only gets 7 TSX's per month. Yes, you can say that it is a limited production vehicle.

i pass by two different dealers to bring my acura for service.
i brought my car in to one of them for an oil change here and they didn't check my tire pressure, didn't top of my windshield wiper fluid, and didn't wash my car until i asked them to after they gave it back to me.
the other one i went to twice to look at a TL and BOTH times(different salesman) the salesman just didn't know anything. he kept having to check up everything. they both told me the wrong size on the optional wheels and i had to correct him, he didn't know the hp, he didn't know what was standard and what was an option...both of the salesmen were just awful.
