Hi,

I have an 06 tsx but I would like it if I could add the acura factory tpms in my car since 06 doesn't come with it so can I? How hard or how much would it cost to add a factory tpms system to my car?

That would be great. I don't know but I would also be very interested if there was a mod available for Acura equipment vs aftermarket. I do believe there are aftermarket solutions but this doesn't appeal to me personally.

There has been a handy (and cheap) aftermarket solution for over 100 years. It's called a tire pressure gauge.

Simba, I respect that you are active on this forum. Your comment is not helpful. At all. Perhaps you could try reading, comprehending, and then responding with useful information. If you are unable to do that, the most helpful thing would be not posting a response. At the very least, an attempt at a humorous unhelpful response would be more welcoming.

For the record: I have a tire gauge I keep in my car. My comment was that I would like a TPMS and one that is from Acura, NOT aftermarket. Also, factually, I believe you are incorrect. The patent for the pencil type tire gauge was filed first in 1960 and modified in 1962. Very quick and easy google search. So not only is your comment not helpful, but it was very incorrect.

It's possible if you buy all the OEM components such as the receivers for each fender and the connectors (off a junk yard car), and you would also need the newer cluster that shows TPMS information.

If you are interested, I actually have the main TPMS Bluetooth unit and the 4 fender well TPMS receivers. All OEM from 07 TSX. All you need are the 4 tire TPMS.

Already traded the car in for a 2007 lexus is 250 which is way better.
