Can I exchange my TSX?
Yeah call me an idiot, but I kind of want the navi now.
I bought an 08 tsx to lock into a low rate on the financing, and the dealership ordered the car for me. It is expected to arrive this week, but I kind of want the navi now.
All of the papers have been signed, etc.
Am I allowed to do this? Thanks.

Funny. I'm in the opposite position as you, I'm pretty glad I didn't get the navi (I originally wanted it).
I would call up the dealer asap and find out for yourself, make sure they don't screw around with you on the pricing. The sooner the better...

When did you sign the contracts? When did they order this car for you? Dealers have been placing orders for 09 TSX's for 2 months now. You can't order a 08 anymore. Did you mean they are locating a car for you or did they really say "order"?
Something fishy here.....
If you are talking about the 2.9% that ended last week, they could have submitted the credit app on the last day and it would have locked you in for 10 days at that rate.
I would assume that you have some sort of out here, if you haven't signed the certificate of origin, the car isn't really yours yet, it's just like a title. I'm not a lawyer though, I'd call the dealer and see what they say.

Many people regret not getting the navi. I have it a love it, even though I drive the same roads 90% of the time, I still get value out of it. Plus it is cool and I'm a geek.
As your sales rep. I'm sure he will like the opportunity to sell you a more expensive car.

Let me help you!
I think as long as you haven't taken possession of the car, you can have it switched. If you ordered any accessories such as the spoiler, it'll be added at the dealership I believe.
You'll be glad having the navi. I don't use it as often anymore, but I usually use it to find gas stations and places to eat.

You'll probably PISS them off but they should be able to make the switch for you. That is assuming they can obtain a Navi TSX. If the manager were to RDR (retail delivery record?) the vehicle then it's yours. Usually they don't until the customer has driven the car away though. The only way they can keep a deposit is if they told you ahead of time that it is non-refundable.

They might try to charge you more, or probably add some sort of "you changed your mind fee" keep a look out for that. but if they are able to locate a car, they should be able to get it for you. I am assuming you haven't signed any paper work.
Good luck you will not regret getting the navi.

If they have the car you want with Navi (or can trade for it) then I don't see why they wouldn't make the switch. They will no doubt want to charge you the full $2000 incremental cost between non-navi and navi.
