Can you play music thru the bluetooth interface on the '06? Sort of like playing mp3's with the phone and listening thru the bluetooth headset...

 

nope...doesnt sound like it would work.

for one if it did it work the quality would suck since its mono and two the handsfree link system is a constant two way communication between the phone and car so im assuming it wont allow anything to come through if theres not a call in progress...give it a try and let us know

 

It would sound bad. Sound quality on Bluetooth wouldn't be ideal for music.

 

Data flow rate for bluetooth is OK for full duplex voice (two way conversation at the same time) but not enough for music (except maybe ringtone quality...).
