a Blog Entry on the 2006 TSX

Maybe a repost

Found a 3-month old blog here (http://www.autoblog.com/2005/09/05/2...ched-nose-job/)

Maybe not something 2006 owners like to read

It is interesting to see them head to head like that, I haven't seen that before. However, I gotta disagree with the author, I like the 06 better. Its like they finally figured out what to do with the bottom of the bumper by adding the factory fogs.

Then again, I'm a zealous 2k6 guy. Bias always prevails.

Yeah, I've seen that post, but seeing markcoburn's photos of the NHB 2006 took all that away. Also, the low resolution of the photo makes it look like the gap between the grill and the front edge of the hood is not perfectly parallel separation , but if you go see an 06 in person you'll see that it is.

He's entitled to his opinion, even if it's wrong.

I agree with the author. I personally think the refresh makes it look like an older Toyota Camry from the front... and don't get me started on the skirt kit for the 06.

I wasn't impressed by the 06 when the pictures of the car was first released, but I think the car grew on me quite a bit after I saw it in person...

i don't think the 06 front end is that bad, even though i think the 04/05 is better. but that's not saying much because i'm not much of a fan of the stock look on the 04/05s as well. it sorely needed the oem kit, especially with that stock wheel gap.

does anyone have pics of the 06 with the oem kit? i've haven't seen it person yet.

Hmm, I Gotta say, Front end is not bad on the 06, but Honda really missed an opportunity to make a nice design change.

Yeah I hate to say it, but I'm not a fan of the 06 front either. Although, I do like the OEM 06 front end better than the 06 front end w/ Body kit. There are just too many lines on the bodykit for me.

The front end is a "wash" no better, no worse than the '05. The doros and especially the back end are way impoved.

BTW, does anyone else think Acura grills look at lot like how people smile on South PaRK?

No thanks. I didn't get the TL for a reason and the last thing I want is for the TSX to look like it.

Creative but ugly.

The 06 looks better to me. Sharper.
