Blitzsafe iPod Power and Audio Interface

(I apologize in advance if this was discussed elsewhere in the TSX community, but could not find it via searching.)

Anyway, in the TL discussions, there was mention of an iPod adapter from Blitzsafe (HON/M-Link1 V.2) that powers the unit and provides the audio interface. I found it at Enfig.com (interestingly, could not find it on Blitzsafe or Logjam websites):

http://enfigpics.com/shopsite_sc/sto...K1_V2_NAV.html

It is supposed to be compatible with NAV. Has anyone tried this in a TSX with NAV? It seems like a fairly inexpensive and straightforward solution (don't need 2nd Y-cable?). You still control the iPod via the iPod itself, but the sound is supposed to be good and you do not need to use up a power port. You also still lose XM (probably won't purchase it once the free trial is over anyway).

Anxious to hear if this works!

I just got the wife an 06 Accord without navi, and this is exactly what I bought. Seems like a great deal. If it works good, I'm going to buy one for me too...

I believe you are correct. For $70, not bad though. I still may wait until the Acura solution comes out and then make a decision. I would hate to go through the cost and installation of this and then find out I really want the Acura kit. I have iTrip while not great, is usable for the next couple of months or so.

Does anyone know anything about the Blitzsafe Hon/Aux DMX V.2X? It claims to work with XM but not Navi. Has anyone figured out a work around that will allow us to keep navi AND XM functional?

I just spoke with Victor at Blitzsafe yesterday. They just finished redoing the chip for this model so it will properly work with Navi and XM. He is sending me the chip to replace in mine today (should receive next week). He will walk me through the process of replacing the chip. Hopefully it works without any issues.
