bike rack
A quick question here - has anyone used a bicycle rack on their TSX, or any other comparable sedan? Would a trunk mounted one damage the paint? We're getting a couple of mountain bikes but aren't quite sure how to move them from place to place (besides riding them). Does Acura have anything available? I haven't noticed anything.
Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet is to buy a hitch and a hitch mounted rack. Or there may be a roof rack available for the TSX but I am not a fan of this either. Or lastly you can take the wheels off and stick everything in the trunk if it will fit.

built for speed
Wait for the Thule fit kit for the TSX. This will allow you to use a roof mounted rack with bike carriers to secure your two-wheel tansport. No better way IMHO. I've been using one for years on my Maxima to carry kayaks, skis, bikes, etc. Great product!
Can't wait for my TSX (supposedly coming soon)

I don't carry bikes on the TSX but I do on my Miata. I used the Saris Bones (trunk rack) for years which is a good rack but wanted a hitch mounted rack for more stability. I bought a Sportworks, the kind that is used on buses. The bikes do not touch each other and the rack is of very good quality. If you can get a hitch on the TSX (I don't know if there is one) I would highly recommend the Sportworks.

thanks for the suggestions... I'll look into the hitch. Kinda sucks because I can't imagine towing anything, but better than ruining the paint. I just needed to hear someone else say to avoid the trunk rack.
Maybe I can convince the woman to put the hitch/rack on HER car, though I don't think I'll win that one.
