A big reason why I love my TSX

A big reason why I love my TSX
I drove 40 minutes to and from work yesterday on highways, backroads, and main roads. I saw probably 40 BMW 3-series, a million Accords, a bunch of Altimas, etc (all cars I had gave some consideration to buying). Know how many TSX's I saw? ZERO.
It's a nice feeling to have a different car than everyone else. On my commute to work and even just driving around town, I see at most maybe 5 TSX's in a week. If I had gotten a Honda Accord, I'd see probably 10 Accords before I even made it to the highway.
How great can you feel about your car if everyone and their mother has the same one as you? I could have gotten a BMW, and by all accounts, they're great cars, but there are so many 3-series on the road it's ridiculous. It makes me feel even better about my decision to buy my TSX.

You're making it sound like you drive an exotic or something.
The TSX isn't rare in any big cities or suburbia. Go to the Chicagoland area and you'll see a lot of TSX's and Toronto, Canada I've heard.

I see TL's all over the place in VA, but not many TSX's. The local dealer told me they were a "hot seller", but I don't see that many on the road around here. Makes me wonder what their def of hot is.
I see a lot of 3-series also. And Audi is huge around here for some reason, I see them all over the place.

I know it's not an exotic... but the point is that it's not anywhere near as ubiquitous as the BMW 3-series or the Honda Accord, and those were the 2 cars I gave the most consideration to buying other than the TSX.
There's literally a 3-series everywhere. Accords are even worse. I do usually see a 1 or 2 TSX's on my way to work (so I exaggerated when I said 5 tops per week). Yesterday, it dawned on me that I didn't see a single TSX, but I had seen a ton of BMW's. There are 3 other people on my street that own a 3-series (and I live on a relatively short street). No one else owns a TSX on my street.
It's just nice having a car that you don't see every where.

Yes, TSX's are nowhere near uncommon in the Puget Sound area, but relative to CamCords and 3 Series, they're still lower in numbers.
At one time, when I first bought my TSX back in early '04, it was several months before I even saw another one. That was cool.

When I look left/right from my driveway, I see 8 Hondas (1 pilot, 5 Accords, 2 Civics) within 100 foot radius. I usually see 1-2 TSXs and 6-8 TLs in a day compared to 20 Accords. It is nice to drive something different in my neighborhood and at work.

Bimmers & TLs are far more common around my part of Jersey. I see a TSX here and there, but not often. That's why I find it funny that in my parking lot at work, there are 3 TSXs and only one TL. Used to be a CL, but that company is moving out of the unit so he hasn't been around.

I just thought of this, but a year ago I was at the stoplight and it was my TSX and the car next to me was a DeLorean!! That's a car you hardly ever see at all.
The TSX's height made the DeLorean look like a midget, but you got to respect the Back to the Future car.

I live in West LA. In recent months I saw tons of TSXs. It's not as many as accords, but I can see that it is slowly catching up. Few days ago I parked at LAX to pick up someone. When I walked back to my car, I saw 2 other TSX with the same color as mine parked very closeby and I almost walked to the wrong car...

Luckily for me, there's not an Acura dealership in the entire state of Maine. So to say that I have a rare car is not an overstatement. I've NEVER seen a TSX in northern Maine, and it's very rare to see an Acura at all, (except for MDX, which all the doctors seem to drive). And as soon as I get near southern Maine (3+ hours south of me) I start looking and will occassionally see a TSX on I-95.

Northeast FL has it's share of Acura's but I seem to see far more TL's than TSX's. About 10 to 1. Of course Honda's are a dime a dozen. I also like the fact the TSX is sorta rare around here.

it used to be "rare" when i first bought mine, but now i see quite a few. there are at least 5 or 6 in my parking garage at work.
but i still see way more accords/camrys/altimas and even tl's/is's/g35's.
but i don't mind anymore...i'm glad a lot of people get to enjoy the car. and at the same time, i'm glad it's not everywhere.

i didn't see too many tsx's on the road in tampa when i first bought my car in feb of 2005. but as the months go by, i've soon a few too many. maybe that's part of the reason why i've modded my vehicle after being bone stock for 1.5 years ... gotta set yourself apart!

in san antonio 3-series' are like candy, as well as accords. i see MAYBE one tsx a day, and i do about 30 miles of driving a day. And glad to say, my TSX is the ONLY TSX in the school parking lot, which holds 2,000 cars each day

Here in Central MA, (Worcester/Leominster area) the TSX is still a relatively rare car. I see them around, but I can easily go several days without spotting one. Saw a silver one on 495 this morning on the way in. BMW 3 series are everywhere, so are TLs. Hell, I see WAY more 350Z's than TSX's.

10 months ago, the car was rare and i told all my friends about it. Now I see them everywhere and one of my friend actually got his '05 before I got my '06. There are soooo many carbon grey and black TSX in Chicago.........

dudes i see almost no TSX's in orange county. i'll see maybe....just maybe one a day. two if i'm unlucky. i see a billion beemers and a billion benzs though. to be honest i only see a few acuras a day and they are mostly MDXs or TLs. its awesome to see a TSX...nice to see someone is just as brilliant as you are haha.

It all depends where you're located....but on my 26 mile drive to work, i see maybe 3 or 4 TSXs in a day.....but i have to agree, i see plenty of BMWs 3, 5, and 7 series and TLs more than the TSX. I just saw a hot TSX the other day and it was a hot girl driving it.
