I posted on autotrader.com, but didn't get a single lead from them. I wouldn't recommend it...I was much more successful with craigslist...just my experience.

Do you have a Carmax dealer in your area? I've sold a car to them and was pretty happy.

I had my last car for sale on Autotrader for over 3 months, and I continually updated it and reduced the price regularly. I got ZERO leads from autotrader and recommend against it. Craigslist was by far the best source of leads, including sales for both of my last 2 cars I sold, and followed next by local paper ads.

I see a few against autotrader. But autotrader success tends to depend on region...in Cal it is very popular may not be the same in all areas. I bought my last car via autotrader in NorCal. In upstate NY it was not used.

I dont see what all of the negetivity is with autotrader.com
I listed on there and sold my car pretty quick. Although... didn't get THAT many leads though. But i dont have any complaints. Maybe it is a region thing.
