Bay Area-Help wid foglight install?

Hey euuurebody,

Just wondering if anyone that's located in the Bay area is willing to help me out with my foglights install. Never done this before and kinda confused on the instructions PasswordJDM sent me. So just wanted to take this chance to meet some of yall and maybe set a lil mini-meet.

thanks for the help!

I would try to help you out since I installed my own JDM foglights using the USDM foglight wiring but I am pretty busy. Maybe if we setup a mini meet or something I could ask for the day off of work. I also go to school so that's why my schedule is too busy.

Da Chinese,

I'm all the way in Chicago, So I can't help you out.

Try searching through Hondacuraworld.com

ahhh, heck here's a link for installating OEM Fogs.
https://www.hondacuraworld.com/Merch.../foglights.pdf

Hope this helps, anyway. What are you gonna do with your Fog light covers? I need a pair since I might be taking off my fogs, since it's a hassle to keep them from cracking....

Care to give me or perhaps sell me the fog covers?

da chinese, here is a PDF on how to install the foglight the only problem is that PASSWORD JDM sold you the weird one that doesn't use the switch that is contected to the steering colum. I don't mind meeting up with you to help out, just PM on when you want to meet up.

hey guys, nevermind on this install.....me and my buddies had a lil time off from school this weekend and decided to hack it ourselves. Overall, it took about 3hrs to install and the instructions PASSWORDJDM is 75% helpful.

We did not have to extend the green wire from the fuse box through the firewall into the cabin. In fact, we didn't even touch the firewall. Many of you had to extend your green wire from the foglight harness to the green wire on the switch harness. We found out you don't need to extend ANYTHING. Connect the green wire from the foglight harness to a connector found BLUE-TAPED to the fuse box harness. At first, the connector PASSWORDJDM sent you will not fit/connect to the connector found blue-taped to the harness, so we just unconnected the green wire from the connector and plugged it into the connector Acura provided you with.

The green wire from the switch harness can be plugged into the 2-pin red connector, because you can disregard the red connector (don't need it at all).

Foglights are really yellow and it works like a charm. However, mine aims really high so I have to adjust it later. Thanks everyone for their support, REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Anyone else that buys these foglights and needs help, PM ME! =)

We still can have a lil bay area mini-meet if anyone is down.....

I'm down for just meeting up somewhere, maybe get something to drink (starbucks/tapioca/jamba juice) before going for a ride. I don't really have time for a huge bbq these days.

I say make a bay area meet thread and say specifically that it's a drive and maybe make a poll of where to drive.

I'm gone for my spring break (April 5th - 15th) because of a band trip to Australia. If you guys decide on those days, it's cool to.

And you need to update your avatar. also, some pics of the outcome for your fogs would be nice. I wanna see how yellow they are. Can you turn them on without low beams?

fadinglionhart: wsup man, hows the NHP TSX coming along? how's frisco?
The Six is doing well; just installed the CAI a month ago so it'll breathe easier. It's much louder too Fremont's fine, but I'm moving out by the end of summer for college. Hoping for UCB, UCLA, and/or UCSD!

Be sure to take some pics after the install. I'm hoping to get my set soon too.
