The other day I was going to push & hold the right toggle switch to reset the trip counter as I was filling up the tank. I accidentally twisted the knob to the right and in the MID I got this bar graph. Further twisting the knob left or right let me adjust this but I can't figure out what it's adjusting! Anyone know?

I checked the manual but didn't find this entry (went through it pretty fast so maybe I missed something).

 

Pretty sure that's the brightness of the gauge lights, etc.

 

You are adjusting the brightness of the cluster, and I think the interior lighting as well. Upon reaching the highest setting, you will hear a "beep" to let you know that you have set it to MAX.

 

Thanks for the quick answers! Weird - I didn't seem to notice any significant changes when turning it down. Will have to check again ...

 

You will see changes at night when your headlights are on. Also, when set to max the Nav screen will be at its daylight setting even if the headlights are on.

 

Good to know - I'll check it out! Mine is non-Nav so can't see that.
