Unhappy Bad Deal?

I went to several dealers within the Philly area and no one has any available. Finally, the one in West Chester had one demo on the lot. I test drove it and really liked it. I asked him if there are any in silver available and he checked the system and said they are getting one in about 1 to 2 weeks. Sat down with him for like 20 minutes to "bargain" for a discount and he wouldn't even budge! He said if it was the RSX or MDX he would give me a good deal but the TSX are limited and in very high demand. I ended up paying full price for for the TSX w/ Navi (~$31000 - tax, title included). Now I read on the forum that people are able to get their dealers to discount to $1000 or more, some even have accessories included. Did I really get a bad dealer and bad price?

It is a case by case ,region by region deal. If you are happy then don't worry about it. We had a few go out at a discount early but now the cars are holding sticker.

I'm paying sticker for mine too. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It seems like a couple months a go people on the board were getting $500-$1000 off sticker.

I'm not trading in another car or financing mine, so I think that's another thing that hurt my chances of getting anything off sticker. There were two TSX's on the dealer's lot that I could have gotten for "couple hundred off" if I wanted to buy them right then and there. But I want CG/Ebony and I'll wait a little longer for it.

I think of the $7,000 that I'm saving by not buying the G35 that I originally thought I'd get.

Even at MSRP, its a hell of a car. I was fully prepared to pay that, but ended up with a better deal.

I also purchase my CG/AT/Navi from West Chester Acura back in July. I ended up getting about $600 off MSRP and a decent deal on my trade.

Unfortunately, I haven't had as much luck from their Service Dept. I took delivery of the TSX and the Voice Recognition has never worked. I'll submit a new thread on how things turn out, but right now I'm not happy with how long it is taking to get this issue fixed. My 3rd trip in for service is next week.
