Auto week forecasts 2009 TSX will have a turbo and all wheel drive.
From Auto Week
TSX: The 2009 version is slated for a redesign. Sources expect it will be equipped with a turbo engine and all-wheel drive. A convertible model may be in the works.

yea i just thought it was random people guessing. This was the 1st time i accually saw it in writing and people who are in the bussiness talking about it.
lets hope the price doesnt't go up too much. My hope is if it can stay under 30k.

i bet the price bumps up to low 30's maybe 32 without tech package and 34-35 with tech package... still a great deal in my opinion...

Unfortunately the combo of the turbo and AWD will bump the price of ths car a little too high. If they could key it under $30K w/nav it would be an awesome car, but once they start getting into the low 30K's it brings many more cars into the trade space and they could ruin one of the best deals in an entry level lux sport sedan. I personally don't need SH-AWD. A little more power would be nice.

The combo will bump the price up, but at least then it will be on the same playing field as an A4. This is a main reason why the TSX seems like such a great deal because its missing these items that other manufactuers have.
I hope Acura doesnt continue with their ways of telling the consumer what they want though. As many people here have stated they dont want AWD. Well why cant they do like other manufacters, like audi and give the option of FWD or Quattro. (its not that hard to do Honda...give people a choice!!).

the TSX is currently about 30 with navi right now... if they add SH-AWD, Turbo, and all the other new technology i see the base being 30-32 and the tech package around 34-35...
the TL will have SH-AWD and more power added too so i wouldnt be surprised if the base TL is around 36-38 and the tech package will push it to about 40-42...
these prices are still good for the TL if you compare it to the G35 or if you compare the TSX to the base 3 series...

it would be but the market isnt there to support it for them... AWD is a big selling point...
i would love RWD, that and more power are my only gripes with my TSX...

It will be nice to see a turbo version w/ SH-AWD in the Canadian Market as we need it in the winter. However, if they can't keep the sticker price lower than other competitors after adding add these features, I guess I will go for something like Audi or Bimmer who has similar feeatures. It all depends on the price after all!

The TL-S is already jumping to $39k for 07 MY. I wouldnt be surprised for a 09 redo jumping to over $40k, and the TSX jumping, fully loaded to $34k. I think acura will still let you purchase a entry level TSX for about $30k.
If the TSX doesnt turn Fugly in 09 (as many cars do when they are redone) and they offer turbo and sh-awd, AND a convertible, Im totally buying one. But the convertible has to be a hardtop convertible. I cant see the TSX with a soft top.
