Acura might replace them once or twice but considering the hassle of taking it to the dealer and dropping it off, You might as well just buy better speakers?
If I
my clutch AutoX'ing will the dealer warrantee it?

Although I can't believe I took the time. Warranties are there to protect the consumer from defects in materials or workmanship, not from someone who (from the original post) is planning to abuse a product.
Do you honestly think your dealership's service advisors are that stupid? C'mon, name someone (even in the aftermarket) that offers an unconditional "blow it up as often as you want, we'll replace it for free" warranty!
The stock system sounds horrible if you crank the volume and bass all the way up because of the cheap paper cone speakers.
Since the system has 180 watts (360 watts peak), that's about 22.5 watts per speaker. Safe to say, that's not alot of power. The problem is that even at such a low rating, the stock speakers will not last long.
When the 04 TSX first came out, many people complained of rattling and buzzing from the speakers. Late in MY 04, Acura added generic dynamat to the door speakers to prevent that, but paper cones (especially the door ones) just can't handle constant bass, even under normal usage.
Besides, even if you blow the stock speakers, their worth maybe $5 even though the stock catalog lists them at about $63 each.
Do yourself a favor and upgrade to some decent speakers that you can run the volume at max and not worry about distortion or blowing the speakers.

Heh, sorry Colin, but they have a ridiculous take-back policy... something like 6 months on computers, no questions asked, and five years (!) on some other stuff.
Anyways, I have to say that I'm dissapointed in the stock sound system, but from what I heard, replacing the door speakers is a PITA b/c of glue and other stuff... true?

Yea Costco is weird, the standard policy for a flat panel monitor is you can only return them if 5+ pixels burn out, not 4 but 5 or more, however Costco will take it back unconditionaly for 1 year.
