i m still wondering which one to get...

i just wanna give you guys some info about tinting...

the one thing i really wanna tell u guys is that get a metallized films ( never fade to purple color around 10 years)
and dont get dyed film(takes about 1-3 years to turn purple depends what kind of brands)

you get what u pay for---.usally over $200 is resonable price for good quality . so look for quality. under $150 is defenitly cheap stuff...

because there is lot of cheap stuff out there .
and poor installation .

 

where in queens are you located? do u tint at any of those shops on queens blvd?

will the metallic tint really effect nav gps reception from your experience?

 

Mine didn't at all.

 

i work for realistic , radio city ,,,,and redline on northern blvd 110st,,,,

 

and not sure about navi ,,,, i think its not a problem

but when u get metal film all the way around including front windshield , like mine , u ll get a little weak signal if u are using cell phone . so as soon as i open the sunroof when i m having a weak signal, it went up from like 1 to 3 strengthd of signal

 

how much to do my car with 50% metallic? whats the guarantee?

 

i got llumnar platinum plus tine for $179 installed...llumnar is good quality, right? hopefully?

 

yeah llumar is good stuff ... dabuda ,where did u get and where u live its good price,

50% with metallic comes with life time factory warranty.
they are gonna charge u less than $180... which is good deal.

so what's the final world with metallic tint on the tsx? Does it screw up radio reception? Only effect navi?

 

cool, i got it down in orlando, fl...used to live in flushing/bayside queens as well as :nj: ...as my cuzs would say, represent yo!

 

neither. It even improved my radio a little bit.

 

I got 30% Titanium and it messed with my Navi pretty bad. I ended up getting an extra antenna and ran it to the front.

 

how did u tap into the existing antenna?

 

I bought an Alpine GPS antenna and it fits right into the existing connection.

metalic tint will reduce the strength of signals ...if u are live in an area where signal is strong , its fine,,, but where signal is weak , its a problem.
thats just my opinion,,,
