Anyone who DIYed footwell lights?

I was planning on DIYing some LED or CCFL footwell lights into my TSX. Does anyone know where to get them, and what kind/size/type to get?

I would like them wired to come on with the dome lights. Any advice on how to wire this would also be helpful.

Would it be okay to put 4 bulbs on each footwell, totaling 8? I'm using 194/168 bulbs, and they're going to be wired to the dome lights.

I'm just wondering if the wire for the dome lights can handle that many taps. Is it possible to overtap a wire and mess something up?

As long as you're not bypassing the fuse somehow, the fuse should blow before any damage is done. If it does blow, don't put a bigger fuse in there thinking it will solve the problem. That would just allow the possibility of serious damage (i.e. your car burning to the ground).

Bypassing a fuse is the mistake that I know not to make, but I need to know how to wire it such that I'm not bypassing the fuse.

From the bulb, where does the red LED wire connect in the car?
From the bulb, where does the black LED wire connect in the car?
Where in the wire path does the fuse go?

I'm not asking which wire to tap. I already know that. I just don't know HOW to connect the LED wires to the wire I want to tap.

Thanks.

Sorry for the double post, I'm chewing double mint gum...

Anyway, are you saying if I wire 8 total, a fuse is likely to blow? I actually plan to wire 3 on each side totaling 6. Do you think it'll be too much taxing on the electrical system?
