Cluster? 2k6? Incomplete senstences and odd abbreviations make your post confusing.

here's a translation:

Has anyone swapped a 2006 TSX instrument cluster into a 2005 TSX.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

You mean you've enver heard of 2k as a representation of 2000? Sheesh! I didn't find the post confusing at all and I'm usually a stickler for proper grammar in posts!

As for the question asked by the OP (Original Poster -- that's for you, Roffles), it likely CAN be done, but you'd have to look into the details of bypassing or just not connecting the MID which Acura added in the 2006 models.

^^ making use of all the new features?

I wouldn't think so... the MID's are TOTALLY different... which would probably mean that the ECU that controls them outputs different data...

"QFT", internet slang meaning "quoted for truth". This term applies on forums and posting boards where users can edit their posts, thus the QFT holds the poster to their original statement. It is also used to express agreement with a previous poster's statement and validate its veracity.

Google Much?

Thanks for the lesson. I never actually looked up what it stood for. I usually try to come up with my own explanations for those acronyms. Whenever I saw QFT, I always thought it stood for "Quit F-in Trolling". I learned something new today.

Just buy the Helms 2006 ETM. It has all the wiring for 04, 05, and 06 models, with the differences between them. This book has proved useful to me over and over again.
