Ok, just searched around on the online dealership sites and there are a few places with Black/Black Auto with Nav, so I'm going to look into purchasing one a month early. Maybe that'll be a good thing since its still winter and the end of the month. Who knows, maybe I'll walk away with one by the end of this week. That would be solid!

Anyone else encountered something like that?

Has anyone ever dealt with Park Ave. Acura in New Jersey? I placed my deposit on a CG/Ebony with navi about two weeks ago, and I have not been given a solid date as to when it should arrive. I keep getting told that they will try to locate it from another dealer. However, I was not told if they ordered any new vehicles or when they are expecting any new shipments. It is frustrating.

Crazy stuff. I noticed today there were no TSX's sitting on the lot (got an oil change done ). I asked the dealer and he said he has two inbound, but were ordered last yr sometime and are spoken for already. His next shipment of cars not spoken for is in May.

Exact same thing is happening to me. I don't quite understand it. I want to give the dealer the benefit of the doubt but what exactly am I signing if the car is not present?

You guys are getting me nervous. I spoke with a dealer yesterday and he told me that he has my exact car coming in within 14-20 days. Its a rare combo, so I'm hoping that no on decides to go to the dealership looking for the same exact car as me before this Saturday. I will be so heart broken if someone already went in and purchased it...

I guess I was one of the lucky one. I didn't even call the dealer to check, I just walked in one Saturday Morning (12/04/04 2 days before my bday) and asked if they had a NBP/Ebony 5AT w/ Nav, my salesperson said it was the only one on the lot, just came in the day before. Fell in love at first site, the only 3 miles it had on it was them driving it to the gas station to fill up the tank. Of course they knew right away that I was gonna buy it, negotiating the price was out of the question. I did manage for them to throw in floor mats, lock nuts, rear wing, and front lip spoiler. I drove it home the same day, but had to bring it back for the additions. A birthday present I'll always remember.
(btw, I've given my name and # to all acura dealers around the area back in Nov '04 to let me know when will they expect a NBP/Ebony 5AT w/ Nav, none have called me back.)

Just heard today that mine will be produced on Feb 25th. I put deposit on it 4 weeks ago tomorrow and hadn't heard anything from the dealer until today (I emailed him a few days ago). It's impossible to find a 6MT w/nav in carbon gray here in the NW.

Well, hopefully by this Tuesday I will be a proud owner of an 05 CG/Ebony with navi. I originally put down a deposit for the vehicle at Park Ave. Acura in NJ but they had no clue as to when the car was coming in... Then I tried Montclair Acura and the ETA was about 2 weeks... but the best quote I was given was from Open Road Acura of Wayne for $27,800 with protection package, and the vehicle's ETA is Monday. =)
