Anyone notice no heat on the floor
This is the first winter with my '06 TSX (love it BTW) and I'm noticing that the floor setting on the heater doesn't seem to work, since my feet are always freezing, even if I increase the temp and put it to the floor setting alone.
My last car was an Altima and I didn't have this problem. Before I check with the dealer, does anyone else notice this?
Thanks much.

Im gonna have to agree with you on this one. I had my heat only to the floor two weeks ago, and I didn't feel any warmth to my feet even after 20 minutes of driving. A bit odd, but I just changed to blow out at my face after twenty minutes.

Same here...seems you have to cook yourself to keep the feet warm....same with summer, feet get hot...also notice the TSX seems to be a big heat sink....drive home on a hot day and park in garage..go back out later to get in and the inside is hot and same with trunk...TL/Accord seem not to have such the problem..?

I've always had the opposite problem with my TSX --too much foot heat. When in auto mode it often makes my feet too hot and I have to set it to only blow out the top vents. I have an '04, maybe they've made changes.

Forced air much less than about 80 degrees feels cold. So if your car is stabilized at 65 degrees and has the wind blowing on the feet, it simply feels cold. Because of the wind chill factor, you need the air to be 10 degrees warmer than ambient to feel warm. To warm feet, set car at 80 degrees and open window...

Sorry...
Tell your HVAC guy that's not the solution. It's been VERY cold here in Boston lately and I've had my heat cranked up to 85 and on the floor setting and I can still feel more heat in the upper regions of the car than on my feet.
Thanks for the help, though.

This is my first winter with my 06... the whole car gets nice and warm (much faster than my old car (an 01 EL) thanks probably to the bigger engine), including the footwells. I do, however, have the climate system in auto for temperature, but I override the vent controls and go defrost/foot mode (hit auto, then hit mode once). I've been driving most of the winter with the seat on high and temperature around 24-25 degrees C.
For some reason, to be comfortable, I need to be really warm in the winter...but in the summer, I need to be really cold (24 degrees C is nice in the winter, but 24 in the summer is horrible....18 degrees C in the summer is great, but fricking freezing in the winter)
