This is the alarm system offered by a local Acura dealer.
I took this option because I did not want to carry another fob (I called around local installers for my options before I decided on AM1)

The booklet explains the programming options, but does not explain how to do it.
I want to do the following options:
2. turn off chirping on arm/disarm
5. turn off panic mode on pressing the unlock button twice

Of course I can put the alarm in valet mode to tirn off the chirping, but then that defeats the purpose of having the alarm.

My only other option is to bring the car back to the dealer to have them reprogram.
It would be nice to do these myself.

 

Has anyone figured out how to re-program this alarm? I want to do the following options:

1. turn off chirping on arm/disarm
2. Activate Passive Arming Mode

 

I have the exact same problems on mine! the owners manual says what to program, but not how to do it. can anybody help?! it is extremely annoying

 

If its an alarm that Acura dealers install on all their vehicles, not just TSXs, then you may want to repost this in Off Topic for a wider audience.
