I'm at around 51k.
Only issues i've had so far are condensing headlights that were replaced free of charge by Honda.

Sweet. Is 1st to 2nd rough for you guys? I've got 70 miles on my TSX and it's rough in both Auto and in manual mode.

i don't like the new one

but that may be a good thing considering how many speeding tickets i've gotten in it.......haha.

hope this answers your question, if not, let me know and i'll delete it.

How did you get your tranny replaced 3 times? what happened? there're some weird sound from my car while i'm accelerating and it's probably an issue from the tranny too. I have to take it back to the dealership but i'm sure that they'll hustle me by blaming on other things such as my aftermarket suspension or the steelies that i'm running for winter tires.

um, haven't you heard about the nightmare Transmissions that were put in the CL and TL models? even Acura knows they made shitty trannies! I haven't paid for any of them, but still....not the point!
yes, take your car into the dealership, it sounds like a tranny problem..
btw, what year/model is your acura?

Its a 04 TSX, plus there are bunch of people who are having the same problem on this forum. Dealers are trying to hustle them by blaming on other parts which is non-factory products such as the steelies that people uses for their snow tires.

nah, that is bullshit........aftermarket has nothing to do with a shitty tranny. although, i haven't heard of any TSX having the tranny problem. but definitely have them check it out. if it is the tranny, they should replace it under warranty.....good luck! don't wait for it to go out completely, get it fixed asap! goodnight!

Let me guess, they're saying that heavier wheels bear down on the drivetrain eh? That's probably far from true as only a couple pounds difference between stock and steelies are not going to effect anything.

I'm also at 26K, had the car since Dec. 03

Wanted to add miles, but since I started a new job working in the city, I just take a commuter train in instead of driving and parking the TSX in some unsafe place.

I think Sauceman has put over 110000 miles on his car. I know he had some issues with A/C but I don't recall any other specific issues. I do remember him saying that, whatever problems he did have, the dealer took care of them.

The only AT tranny problem I've heard of happened early in the 04 production run. There was a recall where Acura was worried about cracked casings. It was only a limited range of VIN numbers and I think they caught it early enough that most of them were still either in transit or on dealer lots.

As I mentioned in another thread I have had to have my drivers side bulb, fuse, control unit, igniter, headlight unit replaced TWICE. My HVAC (radio) had to be replaced because the lights went out and the trunk wiring issue that there was a bulletin for.

Agreed. I would demand a new car at that point. I can deal with them replacing my headlight assembly a few times, but the tranny???? No friggin way!

That is almost unbelieveable that someone could be on their 4th transmission in a TSX though. Their has to be something else wrong. That or the service technicians at that dealer don't know what they are doing.

Why do the Acuras made in Ohio (TL and CL) have these tranny problems or this is just coincidence?

Can you actually see the condensation on the headlight? It is very visible if it's there. Maybe your lights are just dirty if you don't see condensation? When my headlight had it, it never went away, and you could tell in an instant that it was there, no question.
