I was told that my 2005 was gonna be at my dealer (precision acura in princeton, nj) on saturday but it didn't arrive. I was just wondering if anyone has seen any 05's at east coast dealerships! Thanks!!! (im just a bit anxious to get my car) haha

I went on Sat and they said probably the first week in Dec at the Park Ave Acura in Maywood, NJ. But who knows who is right.

 

I am in Tampa. No dealers here have them yet. They say next week!

 

OMG you guys are killing me! How many threads/posts about people wondering, ranting, in despair because the 05's were not at their dealer just yet? Dozens, if not more.

Will you just show some patience a little and WAIT for crying out loud!

 

Pohanka (in DC area) shows 4 05 TSXs in their inventory - VINs in the 200 range.

 

I was at the Hartford (CT) International ( ) Auto Show yesterday, and they had an '04 TSX on the floor.

You'd think they could got one up here for the show............

 

It's here! It arrived at Precision Acura today. Now we just have to decide on a pick up date!!!!

In Mobile, AL here, still haven't seen one on the lot. Even though the guy tells me they are getting 0 MT, 0 Navi. (Yea right).

2002 Trans Am Ram Air (WS6)

• 3000 miles, new rear end. Gears not tanged correctly at factory.
• 3000 to present - rear end has insane slack. GM says it's within spec.
• 10000 miles, 14000 miles, 22000 miles - rotors turned. TSB put out, dealers won't replace until can no longer be turned.
• 15000 miles (about), interior creaking begins to overtake the inherent road noise.
• 32000 miles - Tires replaced because of terribly fast wear for normal driving. (non-aggressive)
• 34540 miles - MPG dropped 2-3mpg on average, dealership says normal.

Been for sale for over a year, cheapest price of any T/A's I can find.
Had 4 calls, 2 people look at it.

So, to answer your question.. yup, ready to ditch the ..........



oh, and fyi, the reason the key doesn't sometimes get stuck from steering wheel lock is because pontiacs are full of steering wheel slack. Kind of hard to get the key stuck when you have half to a full inch of play.

FWIW, Curry Acura in NY has 12 2005's according to their new inventory as of today and a lonely 2004 6MT SSM with NAV.

 

I am in MA, and There are TWO dealers near me. Acura of Peabody, and Acura of Boston. I choose to buy from Acura of Boston. Anyways, neither dealership has any 05's on the lot. I traded my RSX S for the TSX Last week, and Im still waiting for my TSX to arrive. Im very impatient and I cannot wait. Acura of Peabody actually still has a few 04's LOL.

When you traded, did you get to continue using your RSX until the TSX arrives? Thinking of doing this if that is allowable.

Don't really want to be without a car until arrival.

 

Of course. Boston wont pay off my rsx s until i sign the day i pick up the tsx. So its still mine as of today. All the other paperwork is done though.

 

Excellent. I just want a guaranteed trade-in price where they don't back out of it regardless of the additional miles I put on it until the car arrives.

went to the dealership today, while closed, and poked around their lot in the back. They had a single '05 MSM still wrapped from being on the truck. Auto/No-nav.

Guess I need to reserve one!

Not yet, have to bring my homework on my car first.. don't want them skimping on the trade-in. I also drove to Ft. Walton Beach, FL to see my dad for T-day, they had the exact same no-nav/AT MSM (and thats all!) on their lot.

Of course, they were also unloading a NSX, but I decided not to purchase it that day

 

Early shipments of 05's are in Ontario.
