Air Condition Problem / Alternator

Hey Guys,
I'll make this short but need guidance. I have a 2005 TSX at about 160K, last weekend the Alternator fried and I was stuck towing it to not my usual mechanic. Alternator was replaced with a DENSO brand and received the call this past Mon afternoon to pick my car. Worked like a charm with no issues. On Thursday, I turned on the AC and noticed that there was no immediate pressure on the car, the air was blowing, but hot air only no cold air. I pulled over to look at the Compressor and it was running, Serpentine belt was on correctly. Question, could replacing the alternator screw up the AC? Any suggestions on checking something before taking it to my REAL mechanic?

Thanks

Alternator is directly above compressor and possible to damage compressor wiring when replacing alternator. Check blu/red wire and connector to compressor.

good luck
