Ahhhhh!!! We are loosing the appeal!!!

Is it just me, or women don't look at the TSX like they did before? Before, I could see the desire in their eyes when I passed by them. Every single girl on the sidewalk would stare, "What is that car?!"

Now, they snort and roll their eyes. I'm lucky to get a second glance.

I wonder if it's the techno.

Or the 90-100 mph passing.

Maybe my car needs a shower. It's been 3 weeks...

Or could it be the age? Over 21,200 miles!

What do you guys think?

Everyone around here still thinks the TSX is HOT. There are only three of them on campus (My CG, a NHB, and SSM), and literally 4 m3's and 30 other 3 series. WRX's are parked 2 every block and there are several Evo's as well. I think besides the two s2000's, the TSX is the second rarest car on campus under $50k.

Also the car is becoming way more popular, almost everyone has seen at least one tsx..so the wow factor has signifigantly decreased

Hate to say it, slo, but it might be you...

Has it been three weeks since you last had a shower?

It's not the car slo007, it's you

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...d=1#post282944

Could be worst. I had a date that was 40 mins late.

Then I tried another date with the same girl, and she didn't even show up. No return to e-mails or calls. Whatever, I thought, I'll move on...

Then I invited a couple of friends to go whale watching this weekend (I'm renting a 22' sailboat), and one of them has the bright idea of inviting her to come along.

I feel like throwing her overboard and seeing if she floats!

Alright, I'm just kidding. But that's how I felt when she didn't show up on the date.
JK, hah, back on topic.

The car did lose its appeal, but it's still a head turner

I've got to admit, at my age I don't even think about this anymore. Women in my age group tend to be either:

* Total gold-diggers and won't even look at you if the car is below $75K MSRP.
* Completely unconcerned about this stuff.

I can't see driving around town in $100K, so I tend to date the ones in the second group.

Of course, most of them would probaly be uninterested in dating somebody who doesn't know how to spell simple words like "losing."

That's so low!! I knew I was going to get into trouble by venturing in that section of the forum. I'm never reading another dating thread again!

Hey, if I had a quarter for every online typo I've made over the years, I wouldn't be driving a lowly TSX....

OK, I probably would, I'd just be parking it in a nicer neighborhood.

Just don't do it on a job application, OK? Quickest way I know to disqualify people.

A friend of mine mispelled Excel (MS) in her resume and still got a job with Northrop Grumman. For over $65K/year!!! They must have been desperate to fill that position.
