Just one coat.

After clay bar, wipe it with dry soft towel, then wipe it with a damp towel to pick up any residue, then apply the zaino.

I love zaino but I hate to apply it! Ar... time to zaino my cars for winter! just painful! But I usually put at least 3 layers per car. But I will only clay bar it twice a year. Did you try the new Z8? heard they are really good.

so how often do you recommend doing this clay bar thingy, and how often just waxing?

i've never owned a nice car before.. but am thinking of getting the '05 tsx.. so i'm making a mental note of everything i need to do to make sure it looks its best.

I just do it once a year or every 35k miles.
There are really no prefrence.

For me, it depends on how rough the surface is.......

I will have exactly the same spoiler, once they make it in Alabaster Silver and oh yes, also once I get my TSX. Other than those two minor obstacles, I have exactly the same spoiler.

Excited

Aren't y'all afraid of removing part of the clear coat with all of this clay action? I only use it on problem areas. I just washed and waxed mine, but was too worn out to do anything more with it.

It didn't bother me. If you only use them on a problem area, then only that spot shine.....

I was to exhausted to wax them after claying.....

I used "MOTHER" brand and polished it with Zaino.
I think what really helps is the Zaino.....

Next time I'm gonna use Zaino claybar...
