Exclamation Advice on shoddy work..

Hey guys. I took my car to a tuner shop to have the comptech intake installed. To help them remove the front bumper, they put the car on a lift that has these two arms that slide under each side of the car. Well, I noticed that the arms were not properly placed under the car, so when the car was lifted, it put a lot of pressure on one spot of the side spoilers which caused a dent in the spoiler. (I have the oem body kit). The dent is slight but noticeable.. at least to me and it is annoying. When I pointed it out to them, they were talking like if it was already there to begin with. Then they said that due to the spoiler's material and how it is easily bent, that the dent will come out on its own when it gets hotter.

In addition, this bumper weight fell out when they removed the front bumper and they had no idea how to put it back on so they left it off. Also, they drenched the comptech foam filter with the oil (not sure if that is a big deal). What do you guys think i should do about this? Is that bumper weight necessary to have on the car and can the dent on the side oem kit side spoiler be easily fixed? thanks.

some "tuner shop" that is :shakehead
sounds like a bunch of monkeys fucking around.

Aren't they supposed to have electronic manual for just about any car ?

No, that bumper weight is not critical.

I had that problem too it uses the two screws after you pass that black plastic strip. I would put it back in.

It would be cool if anyone had instructions or pics to show how to put it back on, so I can have those guys do it. They had no clue whatsoever. Thanks in advance.

sounds like u got ripped...the side body molding they bent when lifting the car is THEIR responsibility, no it wont go back to normal when hot. what a bunch of idiots. tell them u want that replaced at their cost! talk to the manager or whoever is higher up, u should never have left the shop without addressing that problem. personally i would never go back to them for anything, post their name and address on all the local forums, BBB (usually worthless), and tell everyone i can about them.
the oil they were spraying on ur intake is normal (u have K&N?)

Yes, you can leave that piece off until you get around to DIY or the next dealer service and have the tech pop it in.

That's a fuckup shop get it in your head man.

I just dont understand why people/shops think they need to pull the entire bumper off to install a CAI. Totally unecessary...
