I'm guessing all the sound deadening and dual exhaust vs single. It's only about 30 kg heavier than a fully loaded 4cyl accord ...

Luxury=weight

Things like power seats, mooroof, sound dappening, heavy stereo equipment. Along with heavy wheel tire combinations can add up really quickly. Its worth the trade off to me

Leather seats are also heavier than cloth seats. Plus the motors for our fancy power seats and the heated seats, plus the Nav unit etc... that ads up really quick.

compared to what a BMW or Benz weighs much more, a Corolla weighs a lot less. For a 4 door midsize car the TSX is pretty good.

I came from an CL Type S - this car is a lightweight compaired to it. Bottom line, if you want the nice things in the car, you'll pay for it in the weight. The problem is that Honda engines have no torque and and make the 200hp feel more like 150.

A car with 4 doors & 4cylinders generally weights in between 3000~3500.

Funky stuff; but now that car is only good for racing down the track. I don't see anyone here doing that to their TSX.

I would hunt them down anywhere on the face of this planet.

But for the Sentra, I should find the guys and buy them a few beers.
