Hello everybody.

Is the Honda Accord Navigation unit the same as in the TSX? Are the screens the same?

I just heard that the 2004 Honda Accords have Satellite radio as an option and for those cars equipped with navigation, the name of the song and the artist will be displayed on the Navigation Screen!! Also the Satellite radio stations are accessible via voice command. How cool is that that they have been integrated!?

The TSX is probably going to get Satellite Radio as an option for the next model year. THe TSXs with navigation should be able to get the same treatment. I love Satellite radio.

Can anybody confirm any of the above information?

The NAV systems in the Accord and TSX are largely identical.

The 2004 Accord will have satellite as an option. First three months are free.

I would buy the OEM MP3 player if it would show the artist & title in either the navi audio menu or in the clock area, but I heard the TSX doesn't do either.

Canada just got Navi on Accords for 2006 V6 models only that too, as an option.

Anyways, I've seen Honda XM radio modules on the net/web for $179US+25ship = ~$200. Is that a good price for those units?

Also, is it true that IPOD cd changer input devices i.e. Metra/Peripheral can show MP3 on navi interface?

Having now experienced the setup for the past 9 months, one of my favorite features of the 2005 TSX is the combination navi/ XM satellite radio screen and features. I will NEVER go back to regular radio.
