Hey everyone, I have throughly enjoyed being apart of the TSX club, but I sold my 05 TSX today. My sister has been in the market for a nice car, and since I was willing to be a good brother and give her a deal, she bought it.
I am now seeking my next vehicle, I want a coupe that is sporting, the S2000 is too small, so I think I am going for the 2005 350Z.

You are making a mistake when you buy those cars. =[
The g35 is dated...heard from owners interior is ok.
350z has its share of problems.
You got 1 month left! Hold out now and wait for the 335CI twin turbo inline 6! =] this car is said to beat current E46 M3's =]

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get yourself the 2006 350Z. Improved interior and LED taillights and other upgrades. I test drove one this weekend and they are SWEET!! Have you looked at the VW EOS? That's a pretty neat car too if you want to lease and not deal with crappy reliability.

350z is a reliable car. Can't say the TSX doesn't have a share of problems either.

Besides, the 335 is going to start in the 40's, he can get a 05 Z for 28-29, depending on which model.

i used to own a g35 coupe 2005 model.
should have the same interior.
and well.... the interior doesn't hold a candle to the tsx.
i've got friends with 350z, and its more or less the same, a lot of the parts are the same like the window buttons, sunglass holdres etc.
i guess you get brushed aluminum bits . thats abou tthe only good thing.
the seats in the coupe are nicer than the tsx though. but then again they are coupe seats.
if you are getting the g35 you might as well get the 350z i guess , if you dont need all the other stuff.
the 350z seems to have... aged slightly better. also they are both way noisier than a tsx, the 350z a lot noisier and well nearly back breaking suspension wise.
should have the same interior.

ok i retract my statements..but it seems like for the past 4-5 yrs.. the 350z and g35 haven't significantly changed much besides upping HP from a 270 to a 298. but the '07 g's are starting to look more different.
unfortunately, where I live..there are just wayyyy too many G's in socal. i thought ppl don't like driving common cars.

I had a 05 G35 Sedan and the interior wasn't that bad at all. All high quality materials and well put together. The parts are the same in the TSX as the Accord or the Civic same as the TL.

Don't get me wrong... I like them... but if there's any sports sedan or coupe I see on the road in surplus/abundance, it's the 3 series.

Another vote for the 2006 Z.
They can be had for cheap now since the Z has been out for a long time now and is due for a makeover.
Just get the 06 Z the upgrades are worth paying an extra $1-2k.

If I were going all out with a sports coupe for under 35k, I would definately be in the used market for these babies:
- early to mid 90's NSX
- E46 M3

I'm not a Nissan fan. The best part of that car is its engine - too bad Lada can make the same engine with the same output if they threw out any sense of fuel efficiency. Ok, that's harsh but other than great torque from a very inefficient 3.5L V6, there's nothing special about any of the Nissan/Infinity coupes. Can't you get the new Beemer coupe with the 3.0L L6 low output motor (i.e current 325i engine), that should bring the price down and give you far better driving vehicle.

I don't get why Nissan is continuing the Z. I've read the GT-R will here next year as an '08, and the specs on the two cars are very similar. I just assumed the Z was going away.

^how is even similar? The new GT-R is going to get an estimated 480hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque, it's rumored to be twin turbo and sell in the $80K price range. So how agian is that even similar to the 350z?
