Has Acura of Escondido's ebay store shutdown? My bookmark to it:

and an ebay search, fails to show the ebay store. Did they rename it to something else, or is it gone? Anyone know what happened?

I checked that exact page and it was working on Friday -- maybe they just took the store offline? Just FYI, the google cache for the page has this message:

"ATTENTION!

Our ebay store will be temporarily offline. We apologize for this inconvenience but we are anticipating reopening soon!

There's definitely been a change. I've bought parts for years via EBAY from Scott Edwards in their parts department. Always prompt customer service and helpful replies to my inquiries. This past summer, however, I've received no response to EBAY item inquiries, nor via regular email. Scott's email forwards to someone else, who doesn't reply at all. The EBAY store seems to be offline more than it is operational. The EBAY ratings appear to have gone downhill as well. It's a shame, since the prices and customer service earned a great deal of my business in the past.

 

i will try and give scott edwards a call on monday during business hours...he was a great person to work with....

 

I didnt know there were shutting down, Ive bought my comptech headers/catback from scott. Your right great person to work with! Its ashamed there not ebay anymore

 

Scott is no longer with A of E. There was a thread in the TL section months ago about it. They tried pretending he was still with them to keep the business but Scott emailed some member saying that he was no longer with A of E. Search in the 3rd gen TL forum. I am pretty sure that's where it was.

 

That is too bad since he was an excellent person to deal with.

 

this explains why i had such poor service from them when i tried to get a pair of a-spec exhaust tips.

some other guy told me to email yet another person, both of which gave me the run around and eventually never replied back to my questions.

it's a shame.
