Acura Brake Pads, Rotors, Fluid HELP
Hey All,
(2006 Acura TSX 4 Door with nav)
Anyone know the best site to get OEM brake pads, rotors and brake fluid for the best discounted price?
If anyone has advice on any aftermarket brand, please suggest?
Not a noob when it comes to cars, but also not close to being an expert, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

You can ask our forum vendor (wholesalepartsguy or Hondacuraworld) that sells oem parts. Send them a PM or post what you need in the link below.

I would suggest staying far away from OEM rotors and pads if you can... they are expensive and IMO not worth the money. There are many aftermarket pads, rotors, and even fluids that will be cheaper and better performing than OEM, and any of our forum vendors can determine your needs.
For fluids you should be fine with any name brand DOT-3 brake fluid, but the Honda/Acura stuff isn't much more expensive at the dealer so that might be the best route to take.

I would stay away from a lot of the drilled/slotted combo rotors as you loose a lot of surface area between the pad and rotor (hurts braking performance) plus the loss of structural integrity from the holes being drilled. I would say go with either blank rotors or slotted at most.

OEM pads and rotors warp way too easily. I learned the hard way. I kind of think they may be undersized for the car. I just re did mine a couple of minths ago, new pads and rotors and they are already warped. No TSX OEM brakes for me ever again.

I know I'm new to the site, but I have searched for the answer on here extensively and I am having a very hard time finding the answer. I need to replace the front rotors and brakes on my gf's 2nd gen TSX, ASAP. I haven't been able to find any rotors for the '09 online to buy that aren't slotted. I would like to upgrade from OEM, but only upgrades are slotted it looks like. Looks like the '08 and '09 have same rotors from what I have read. Not sure though. Been researching for a few days. I just put Brembo rotors and Akebono pads on my BMW and they work great. Just can't find flat Brembos for the '09 TSX. Any help would be appreciated. I need to order these things tonight if at all possible.
Thanks!

Really should put this in the 2G section, though.
