My 2006 is time for the A13 maintenance and I called the acura dealership to get a cost estimate and they told me is around $194 (include tax). Is that reasonable?

Any place I can get it done for cheaper in VA?

Let's see, that's a simple oil change, rotate tires and change tranny fluid. The tranny fluid alone is probably at least $70.

$194 seems a little high, but i wouldn't say that is outrageous.
Ask them how much a regular transmission fluid change is, and a regular oil change, "a la carte" if you will, haha. Those numbers better come close, cause all an A13 includes besides the trans fluid and oil change is rotate the tires.

 

This is what he told told me .....

$40 for oil change
$30 for tire rotation
$125 for the fluid

$30 for less than 5 minutes of work... maybe 10 minutes if they balance each tire too. Wish my job paid me that well.

 

My 2006 is up for an A13 service tomorrow. I was quoted $150.
