How do you remove the shiftknob i want to replace mine with the S2000 can this be done. How do i do it.

 

Get a wrench on the jam nut right below the shift knob. Turn clockwise (when looking from the top) to loosen. Then unscrew the shift knob with your hand (counterclockwise).
Installation is the reverse of removal. The purpose of the jam nut is to stop the knob from spinning in order to keep the shift pattern aligned properly.

 

Grip and twist really hard, counterclockwise.
