6MT shift knob color?

i just noticed that mine looks a little 'dull.' (kind of has a slight copper hue to it) it doesn't seem as bright as the silver trim on the dash and doors. is this normal?

The shift knob doesn't match the trim. It's a slightly gold color similar to titanium. It's always seemed a little weird to me.

when my knob got stolen at the dealer, they replaced it with another one. it was the 1st time I looked closely at it and also noted that it didn't match the trim of my car. Not knowing what kind of people I was dealing with, I walked around the dealership to check all the knobd. They all have red print with golden-hue titanium - clearly different from the rest of the interior trim. Weird indeed.

Its the exact same as the one in the S2000 (at least in the '02 model). I felt like an idiot when I took my friends out for a test drive - coudln't figure out how to get it in reverse.

Once I did though, I had plenty of fun.

I recently had my shift knob replaced on my 04 6mt at the dealership because the finish was coming off on the knob. It looked cheap and I was not to happy about that. At that point I had about 16,000 miles on her. Anyway, they replaced it with a knob that has a golden, peach hue to it. I noticed it right away. I think I kinda like it, as long as it lasts longer than the other one.

Yeah but I think the 5AT is missing a pedal. What are you supposed to do with your left foot, nothing? I can't comprehend that. I think the 5AT is a rip off. You pay the same price, but you are missing a pedal.

you bastard.... ech once again at least SS is a hell of alot better then the standard Auto...im much happier at least w/ some form of shifting, opposed to putting it in drive and leaving it there....

Edit: Talking outta my ass here but the 5at w/ an extra petal would be awsome....you have a clutch when ur in SS Mode, so u have to do all that, but when theres heavy traffic, inclimate weather or u just really dont feel like shifting (long trip perhaps? i dunno, i allways feel like shifting lol) just depress the clutch all the way to the floor, and shift over to "D" where the clutch becomes automatic and the petal stays locked...i dunno something like that would be sweet...

When I am driving, my left foot dances to the music. It's fun....

Wait....you mean you can do whatever you want with your left foot? Next your gonna tell me that you can have both hands on the wheel at all times. Oh...I get it now. If you have the Navi, you can just TELL it when to switch gears. I guess i should have read the manual.

You are very observant

I noticed this at the dealer when I bought mine (it is on all of the 2005 TSX's BTW). I also thought this was wierd. It is like a tungsten color you would see on a golf club. It is attractive in and of itself, but does not match the trim at all. It seems to fit better with the tan interior and wood.
