6MT question

Stupid question but out of curiosity, does the TSX have a safety mechanism that prevents an individual from accidentally shifting Reverse instead of 6th gear while driving? As you all know, they are closely located on the shifter. Thanks.

You cannot shift into reverse accidentally while the car is moving forward.

In answer to your question...yes, there is a solenoid actuated reverse lockout system.

Yes. Just try doing it while driving: It won't go in.

Well at least not until it's down to a slow roll.
