Nice one jigga. So, how do you do it? All freeway driving? Engine braking?

btw, my rear brake pads grew between service appointments. They were reported as 3mm middle of last year and then 4mm late last year.

I consider myself hard on brakes and at 30,000 miles, my tech said I still had 90% left! I was in shock when I heard that.

I have plans to tear down the car this weekend while on the lift and check for myself, now that I'm at 36k.

Well then there you go, there is your answer. I want to say I'm already past 50% and I have 32,000K miles. I could be wrong but it seems like I remember the service tech mentioning that they were going to continue monitoring my brakes because they seemed to be getting low. I'll see what happens. :shrugs:
