6 speed question...
For you experts on the subject of shifting... How far should the clutch be pushed in- all the way to the floor every shift or just about 3-4" until it engages? I have not driven a manual in a while and need some advice...

Don't know if I would consider myself an expert but I have been driving manual since 1976... I always push on the clutch all the way down to make sure engagement is secure and don't ruin the gears.

OldManTSX has got the right idea. Just push the damn thing down to the floor and then let it back in easily as it engages taking about 2 seconds for the entire process.
Other words of advice, don't make shifting more of a process than you would by putting an auto into drive. The less you think about shifting, the easier it is.
