I know everyone has talked about tints effecting the navi. My question is there anyone out there that has 5% tint on a tsx with navi? and did you notice any problems/differences? Thanks

 

They key is to get a non metallic tint. It doesn't matter what %% you go with. The tint needs to be ceramic if you want to have zero risk of the tint causing problems with your navi reception.

Is it only the back window that needs to be non metallic, or the entire door windows as well?

 

i got mine tinted the first full day i had it w/ 5% llumar charcol metallic. of course the navi stopped working, so i got the guy to redothe back glass only w/ 5% llumar non metallic. navi works great now- he also did the entire windshield w/ 38%.....not bad for $60.......

 

cool good to know, some people say 5% is too dark , but I had that on my Integra and loved it...so the tsx gets the same.
