2nd Annual DC/MD/VA TSX Picnic and Meet (We're meeting at Picnic area C-1)
So we did this last year and it was pretty fun so lets see if we can get all the new TSX's out to another meet/picnic. And everyone that came last year better come again. This is our own meet, all TSX's!!
Just to let everyone know, almost all the cars last year were pretty close to stock so don't worry about coming if you don't have loads of mods, ALL ARE WELCOME!!

Proposed Date: Sunday, June 11th (Speak up if these dates arn't good)

Alexandria, VA
Please sign up below and list some stuff (e.g. food, drinks, etc.) you will be bringing (<$10). We cannot serve alcoholic beverage. Please note if we are gonna grill stuff, we need to bring our own grill.
As it gets closer I will reserve a section of the park and update the thread with where to park etc.
DIRECTIONS TO FORT HUNT PARK
From Downtown Washington, DC:
Take 14th Street Bridge south towards Virginia). Take Exit for Mt. Vernon/National Airport; continue past National Airport, through Old Town Alexandria; Fort Hunt Park is 5 miles south of Old Town Alexandria; exit to the right at the sign marked "FORT HUNT ROAD/FORT HUNT PARK".
Beltway from Maryland to Alexandria, Virginia:
Take very first exit after Wilson Bridge (Mt. Vernon Highway); this will put you on South Washington Street; continue for 5 miles; exit to the right at the sign marked "FORT HUNT ROAD/FORT HUNT PARK".
NOTE: George Washington Memorial Parkway, Mt. Vernon Highway, and Washington Street, are all the same road depending on where you are at the moment.
Beltway from Virginia to Alexandria, Virginia:
Take Exit 1 North; go to the first traffic light and take a right on Franklin Street; go about 3 blocks and take a right on South Washington Street; continue for 5 miles; exit to the right at the sign marked "FORT HUNT ROAD/FORT HUNT PARK".

And again, let me know if those dates arn't good, we can of course change it. I went by about the same time as last year and I hope (since we are planning it early) everyone can make it. But obviously it's flexible.

I'm in...though a few things need to be mentioned...
1. We CANNOT serve beer and wine. We would need to apply for a special permit to allow for this and quite frankly, I don't think anyone really wants to pick up the tab on that.
2. Why would you have the rain date before the actual date? How can you know for sure it'll rain before it actually does?

1) You wrote that for last year so I assumed it was the same this year

This was a lot of fun last year. Definately get really good directions to this place though, its hard to find and get out of!
Both dates work for me, but May 29 is a Monday, so I'm going to use you mean 28th? And how do you make a rain date ahead of the real date!

im in, i can bring cash or whatever we may need. id prefer the 14th, as we are having a company paid trip to AC, and we wont get back to the office til 12 on the 7th and im sure you can imagine how im gonna be feelin. ill try my best to make it though, put me on the list
